End of summer Chit
Holy Fuck! 3 months since my last post. Its not my record (try like 3 years) but it just surprised my because of how much has happened over the past months. From summer vacations to the fall fair and everything in between is been a busy summer. And holy crap has my son ever been carted around EVERYWHERE!! Compared to his sister who barely left the house the first few months, this guy has traveled tonnes. Hes been to the cottage twice up north and out east at the trailer a few times and all the various other places we went from there most recently the fall fair. He's a trooper man. |

Fathers Day
Well it was a good day yesterday. The 6 of us (me, wife, in-laws and kids) went out for a Fathers day breakfast. We were supposed to go to a local Restaurant at 9am but didn't get out of the house until about 9:45 so it was lined up out the door when we got there. Our youngest child (11 days old) decided he needed to be fed at 9am so what can you do .. its all about his schedule now. So we ended up at Harvey's fast food joint .. which for me was great because I dig their breakfast .. not as fancy as the Restaurant but what the hell .. I had my bacon, sausage and eggs and was happy. The best meal of the weekend was Saturday night which I cooked myself .. marinated BBQd striploin steaks, mushrooms and Malto Marios Nascar tailgating potato packets (layers of bacon, onion and potato with butter and oil wrapped in foil and roasted in the BBQ) .. it was awesome!! Had some good wine to go with it too!! I just got ahold of Marios Nascar Tailgating cookbook and we'll be trying some more stuff from it for sure. Mixed in around hanging out with the kids I was able to watch the US Open golf tournament on Sunday. The golf was a battle right to the end which is great! Loved it! You could tell my daughter was tired .. she actually crawled up on the couch with me and fell asleep watching golf with me until my arm went numb and I carried her up to bed for her nap. I am looking forward to talking with the boys tonight as I will be calling into the show www.robontradio.com. I haven't talked to them since our son was born so I am sure they have some words of wisdom for old postpartum Danny. |

Daddy-D
Well, its been quite an eventful time since my last post. Our son Evan was born!! Everyone is healthy and happy and things are going great!! Its obviously an adjustment .. a big adjustment .. but so far its less of a change than I anticipated. Evan has to be fed every 3 hours and cries when getting changed(I would too if someone started rubbing cold baby wipes on my week old nice warm butt). But so far his big sister does not seem to be disturbed from her sleep by his crying. I thought she would be getting up all the time when he was up during the night and get really cranky because she is really tired but so far that is not happening. Big sister is obviously getting less attention from Mommy especially but she seems to be taking it in stride so far and being very helpful with the baby. I know there will be other challenges to come but we are ready for them! As ready as we can be that is. You just have to take it as it comes and do your best. I wanted to phone into www.robontradio.com this past Monday but didn't get a chance .. had too many visitors that night and couldn't duck away .. next thing I knew it was after 9pm and the show was over. I miss hanging out with the RobOnt Radio boys on Monday nights. Since we started having kids, instead of "the boys" being my friends, they are now my father and father-in-law. But that is fine with me .. I still hang out once in awhile with friends .. although it always seems to be at kids birthday parties now ;) |

Wow - 2 months of shows - now its Daddy time
It has been a very fast 2 months of doing RobOnt Radio ... and its been a blast! Thanks Guys! In the next little while I will be concentrating on helping to bring our next child into the world .. the official date is June 11 but we feel it could be any time now. Everything is going great and we hope for nothing but the best in the next few weeks and years to come for our family. If the boys of RobOnt Radio will have me back, hopefully postpartum Danny (thanks Jason) will be there to Re-"Join the Revolution" or "Spread the Virus" (choose your preference) in the near future. Either way, I'll be continuing my support of the show as much as I can. Keep up the good work Bruthas! |

Exclusive with ThereIsNoRadio
Well, last nights show kinda sucked but Jason was not there and it was our last night on the former Live distributor of RobOntRadio. So we just fucked around for 2 hours. Rob will be editing it down for the down-loadable version which should be good because there was a good 45mins to an hour of stuff that was really good .. Like when Jason tried to sneak into his house without us seeing him so we phoned him and when we talked to Robs hot neighbor from the studio window about coming on the first exclusive ThereIsNoRadio show and get naked and the pictures of me with O&A and at the clan and gay rallies and .. hey maybe it wasn't such a bad show after all .. at least I thought those bits were funny. Next week www.RobOntRadio.com goes exclusive with www.ThereIsNoRadio.com which is great! They do a lot more promotion and stuff. We remain in the same time slot Mondays from 7pm-9pm. I just registered on there and the site is cool and there seems to be a lot of good shit on there. Maybe I'll get some more time this week to fuck around with the audio setup for the show. Every time I settle in to mess around in my test studio something distracts me .. mainly I can't get the the fucking shit working like I want! |

Whats going on!
Well .. life just keeps going and going .. like the Energizer bunny .. which is great! Very busy Easter weekend .. visited both Hannah's Grandparents, she was on a major sugar high for the weekend, took her to a small carnival in town, bought 8 gallons of paint (5 different colours) for the painter at our house today and tomorrow, moved around furniture in the house to prepare for the painter as well as patched and primed walls and ceilings and caulked baseboards and counters. Couldn't have done all that preparation if Hannah was around so after we had dinner there she stayed at her grandparents Saturday and Sunday night and we did all the painting preparation on Sunday. Finished off the day with dinner at The Keg. I should come home tonight to about 50% of the house freshly painted which is the rest of the house that we had not already painted over the builders beige colours. This includes our master bedroom which we are finally going to get around to start decorating .. paint first .. then our new furniture should be coming in the next couple of weeks. Hannah is also getting her new "princess" room painted as well getting ready to move her into that room to prepare our next child due in early June. Wow! And finishing off the Easter weekend with this weeks edition of http://www.robontradio.com where we should be discussing some crazy stuff as usual. Man am I tired :) |

RobOnt Radio - recap of last nights show
Well it didn't start off well last night .. the server crashed which disconnected us from the live feed on http://www.attituderadio.com. The Stern vs OnA bit was inevitable and going into the clips and pics of the week it got rude, crude and nude from there in a good way. It was week 13 for the show and week 1 for me so there was bound to be some technical "challenges". Take a listen to the podcast clips on http://www.robontradio.com. |

Hooray for DVR!
I have realized the genius of the invention of DVR in the past few months. Whoever invented this must have had kids because it has been invaluable to us. I am sounding like we watch a lot of TV but we don't really .. there are 2 current shows right now that we watch and they are each on a few times a week. After our hectic weekday evenings getting dinner ready for us and the kid, cleaning up, bath time, book reading time and bed time, who the heck can watch something they enjoy on TV at the time it is actually broadcast. A couple of clicks on the ons-creen guide and our TV shows are automagically recorded for us. When the kid is asleep .. bam! we start watching! Genius I tell ya .. Genius!! Update
Well .. its been more than 3 years since my last post .. so here is my tri-annual posting for all of you who have been anxiously awaiting it ... In reviewing my previous lame posts .. here is an update on most of it: - I don't watch wrestling anymore since my DirectTV dish went down like a year ago and I don't get free PayPerView - I am looking forward to the next Survivor starting September 15 - Spinal Crap has not jammed in about 3 years - BB6 is now on and I am still into it this season since there are still hot chicks in the game .. just kidding .. I think .. maybe not .. no .. its a good show Thats about it. Now moving on to other life changing type things that have occurred: September 2002 - let go from my job of 9+ years as part of a company merger .. Fargin Bastages! May 2003 - started a new job at Roots July 2003 - our daughter Hannah was born!!!!! For the last 2 years we have been enjoying life with Hannah. Its all about her! And so it should be! Once in awhile we get together with family and friends so Hannah can see her little buddies .. of which there is a recent addition "Baby Rebecca". We just had a week vacation from work with Hannah and it was great! We spent the week at my parents trailer. There was a lot of stuff for Hannah to do there and in the immediate area. She went swimming for the first time which was cool. Oh well .. I guess I could blab on for awhile .. since it has been 3 years ... That's it for now. L8r |

Wrestlemania X8 ... the aftermath
It was a good show but it sure wasn't as exciting and all out extravagant as previous Wrestlemanias. Almost as if it has turned into just another monthy Pay-per-view event. Drowning Pool and Saliva played live which was kinda cool but besides the wrestlers they were the biggest stars there which was unusual for Wrestlemania. But I had a good time overall. Highlights were: Stone Cold pounding the beers after stunning NWO, Stacy Kieblers butt, Rock's peoples elbow, Hogan doing his famous hand to the ear to get the crowd screaming and Stephanie's cleavage. |

Wrestlemania
So tonight is the night. I am going to Wrestlemania 18! I haven't seen one live before, or any live wrestling in ages. A lot has changed since I went. robont and I went to Wrestlemania 2 back when they first thought about doing closed circuit TV. Now theres Pay per View and heavy lights, tunes and pyro at the shows. Its nuts! So robont, jenont, Kelly and I went out for drinks Friday night after The Rock lacrosse game (it was cool, never been to one before) accross the street from the WWF Superstars hotel. A bunch of them were at the bar and some more came over from the hotel. It was cool! You can read more about it here. The funiest part is when I was going at it with one of the announcer dudes about hockey. He started chanting about the Devils, so I started chanting Go Leafs Go and it all started from there. Bastard signed my autograph .. Leafs Suck. It was hilarious!! and tonight will be the bigest WWF event of all time!! I feel sometimes a little goofy for enjoying this WWF shit but heh, its fun!! If ya smeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllll what I'm cookin' What! Woo Hoo! |

The Ozbournes
Sing these lines as if it were an Ozzy tune ... You think you know what Ozzy's thinking! You think you know what Ozzy's drinking! Jack Black doing his Ozzy impression is hilarious!! If you have seen the promos I am sure (like myself) you can't wait to see this show tonight!! Its on MTV at 10:30pm. Even if you don't like Ozzy I am sure this look into his family life will make anybody laugh. As MTV calls it, its a reality sit-com. They followed around Ozzy and his family and made a tv show out of it. I have heard him on the Howard Stern Show with his wife and kids and I couldn't stop laughing so I am sure this show will be just as hilarious. Enjoy! |

New Years Bash!
Well, back from lunch at the Peel Pub. So in keeping up with todays mission ... time for another post. We had a few friends over for New Years this year. It turned out to be a great party! DJ Dan was in the house :) I made a bunch of mixed tunes on 5 CDs which played throughout the evening. Worked out kinda cool cause everyone started dancing and totally partying it up! Our living room wood floor made a great dance floor. Unfortunately, I was too busy partying and didn't take a lot of pictures. In fact there was only 2. 1 of which turned out all fuzzy, kind of like how my head felt at the time :) Here's the one that turned out Thats our friends Christine, Greg, Jeff, Karen and Kelly is hiding in the back in the pink New Years hat. This one was taken sometime after midnight. I am thinking AC/DC was playing at the time considering Jeff is playing air guitar. Hope I haven't used up all my good posts for the year ;-) Later, Dan |

Mobile Boom Factor
Back in late November Kelly went away on a business trip for a few days plus a weekend. Made me think .. Perfect time for me to install some car stereo stuff I had lying around for awhile. Waited till she was away only because I am such a nice guy and didn't want to have to ignore her for 3 days straight. More like, didn't want her interrupting me and then it would take 5 days to do :) I added a 2x120watt amp and 2x12" subwoofers to my existing factory radio. Also put in a Power Capacitor to help with the power draw from the subs for the big booms. I am now very happy with the sound of my car stereo. It Rocks!! Should be great at the Drive-In! (as long as it doesn't run down my battery) The subwoofers provide a nice shiatsu massage for anyone sitting in the back seat now too. |

Today's Mission
No Work! Its been a long week even though its only a 3 day work week! If my mission is successful there should be a couple more posts today. I have been meaning to post some stuff for awhile .. but you know me. |

Spinal Crap Update
So we jammed yesterday. It was cool but we couldn't get a good sound mix. That seems to be the hardest and most frustrating part of jamming. I think next time we get a good volume mix we should leave the equipment and not touch a dam thing. The problem is getting that inital good mix :) Jamming inspired me to update the website with some new pics. Also, DanO has been playing bass with us since early last year and we haven't put his mug on the site yet. So I added something about DanO as well. Check it out at www.spinalcrap.com |

BB2
Thinking of it now, Nicole may have been better off voting Will out since a bunch of people still hate her and now add Monica to the list. If she kept Monica she may have got herself a bunch of sympathy votes for not "selling out". I think she has no chance of winning. Now she is totally screwed because the only vote she may get is from Hardy. A lot of people will vote Will to win ... I can hear it now ... "Will was totally honest about being dishonest" ... "Will played the game the best". Its going to be a Richard Hatch Survivor thing. Everyone hated him but he won! Evi Will Rules! |
